WebThe developers of xAtmoEngine, MWP Projects, have released their latest addon aiming to improve X-Plane's visuals: Real Lights. The plugin tunes the lights of streetlights and cars to make X-Plane 11 appear better. WebThey don't actually radiate light, rather the "night lighting" is painted on the ground or as bright dots on objects. MSFS's lighting is real (simulated) lighting that actually interacts with the atmosphere, moisture, objects, and the ground like, you know, light. XP12 will be the same but XP11 really isn't.
WebLuckily, it seems that xVision has a parameter for the luminosity of texture lights: http://x-vision.pro/tweaks_descr.html#GeneralEmissiveLighting If you set that to 0, you shouldn't see texture lights any more. But the problem is that at that point you will have only 3D lights, like in the second photo in that post that I linked above.
