Thargoid interceptors don't spawn thargons when below 30-40km from the surface so it makes it a lot easier to fight them. Scouts are the little Thargoids, they are individually fragile but in a group they buff each other so 1-2 is easy 4 is ok and 8+ will challenge you. 5.
