It is super lightweight, very sensitive, and casts Skagit lines, heavy sink tips, and big flies easily. But with this type of performance, you will pay a premium. But if you want the best switch rod for steelhead, this is it.
Web21 de nov. de 2024 · It’s a perfect rod. I think the G. Loomis team put considerable effort in the new GLX rods because the GLX series is their cornerstone. I don’t think even the new Shimano-G. Loomis Conquest rods will be much better than the GLX series especially for an outrageous $2-300 more. Besides, I’d rather have a fully G. Loomis produced rod.

It is much more stable than the NRX and has a little better feel than the Asquith. I found it to be a very intuitive rod with a nice low swing weight.
