All children who have a GP in the borough can access this service. The service mostly takes place in clinics, children’s centres, nurseries and nursery classes attached to schools. WebFor children over 27 months where a language or communication is not progressing in line with developmental norms a referral should be considered. Nursery settings should use the East Sussex Speech, Language and Communication Monitoring Tool or equivalent to evidence a significant communication difficulty.
