WebAll-Weather Trotting Track. The Amman Valley Trotting Club is a community-led enterprise which provides a purpose-built, half-mile, all weather trotting track, one of only two in Wales. Created and run by local harness racing enthusiasts. Everything is done by volunteers with all monies used on upkeep and improvement. WebOn Sunday 6th June Welsh trotting returned to its roots, with a race meeting on Broadheath Common near Presteigne. Two committees, Wales & Border Counties and Wales & West staged a joint meeting with their races interspersed to provide an enjoyable afternoon for the competitors, which was held ‘behind closed doors’ due to Covid-19 restrictions.
