WebMar 26, 2013 · Go to a spring shop they will install any height spring you desire. However, be advised your ride will be much harder in the front. Also spring stiffness is determined by wire diameter, the diameter of the coil and the number of turns or coils. The most sensitive is the wire dia meter. Just a few thousandents will change the coil stiffness. WebSpacers worked great. I had just done a complete suspension upgrade replacement, only to be disappointed with a slight droop visually in the rear. Went with 1/2” spacers, and it definitely made the difference I was looking for, even with the poly isolators in the rear. Visually looks like my mustang body is level with a slight lift in the rear. 5

I think the metal twist-in type like what I used would be a good band-aid repair until new springs could be installed.

A better way to level the front in my opinion is to add a couple of washers under the spring perch.
